History

Inglis Netball Club was originally made up of female army personnel at Inglis Barracks in Mill Hill and the wives of serving soldiers. We were luckily able to train for free on a full size netball court at the barracks, and the club grew and ended up having two teams in the North London League. We then opened up membership to local women towards the end of the 1990s, and then Inglis later fused with another local club called Copthall. In 2003 we weren’t able to train at the Barracks any longer, but fortunately that year the Burnt Oak Leisure Centre opened and that’s where we still train to this day!

We now have around 30 signed up members forming our three squads. Being part of a small netball club means it’s easier to get to know your teammates, and this helps to form a unique and special bond within the team.
